Creating Projects That Benefit Society
At Polat Energy, we develop projects in collaboration with our stakeholders to lay the foundations for a stronger tomorrow, taking into account the needs of the communities where our power plants are located. With this perspective, education and women's employment are at the heart of our corporate social responsibility efforts.
With the "Green Light for the Future" project, launched in 2023 in collaboration between Polat Energy and the Polat Foundation, we aim to raise awareness among students and teachers on renewable energy, sustainability and climate change, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Through the "Light Up the Future with Women's Labour" project, implemented in collaboration between Polat Energy and KAGİDER, we aim to make women's labour visible, make women an active part of the production process, and strengthen their economic independence. We believe that a society where women participate in the workforce, produce, and become economically empowered will not only brighten the present but also the future.
Green Light for the Future
With the Green Light for the Future, we aim to educate children, young people, and teachers about renewable energy, sustainability, and climate awareness. Launched in 2023 in collaboration with Polat Energy and the Polat Foundation, we view this journey as the strongest investment in the future.
The project is not limited to merely transferring knowledge; we also aim to contribute to raising children to become individuals who are in harmony with nature and who are responsible.
In Energy Workshops, we bring together third and fourth grade primary school students and enable them to experience basic concepts such as wind energy, carbon footprint and sustainability through interactive applications and workshops.
As part of the Vocational High School Meetings, we bring together young people interested in the energy sector and encourage the sharing of experiences on renewable energy, the climate crisis and sustainable production with the participation of Polat Energy professionals.

Light Up the Future with Women's Labour
With the Lighting the Future with Women's Labour project, we aim to strengthen women's economic independence, support local production, and accelerate sustainable development in the regions where we operate.
We are structuring this approach around 5 years, 5 regions, and a shared vision; we aim to create sustainable production models that focus on women's labour in each region.
For us, this project goes beyond short-term social support work; it represents a journey of transformation that draws strength from the local level and creates long-term social impact.
With Ligh Up the Future with Women's Labour, we aim not only to make an economic contribution but also to create a social structure where women produce, empower themselves, and have a say. The future of a society where women are economically empowered will also be brighter.
